We use air conditioning but what benefits and problems does it pose. This appliance makes the air cool through circulating it using a freon mechanism that is the same way the refrigerator does its cooling. We can always use fans but since fans don’t really cool the air, people prefer air condition more because fans just move the air around to make it cooler. The problem with it is the consumption of electricity it has. It takes up a lot of electricity and give you problems both financial and environmentally as well because of the disadvantages power production gives. Most of the time, electricity is created through burning of coals in power plants and this is how indirectly air conditioning contributes to the greenhouse gases and pollutants being released. Another problem is if you spend too much time in room with air conditioning, it would get you to have asthma, chest tightness and other problems in your respiratory ailments.

There are always alternatives you can go for rather than using air conditioning and it mostly on designs of the building, using shades from trees or even use solar panels to supply the energy to power air conditioning. Taking advantage of environmental factors can help you enjoy air conditioning still or not make use of it at all and it would be up to you how you will be maximizing it.
